The Back Office Ahead of the Curve
We build the foundation growing companies need to scale with confidence.
At some point, every business hits the same wall. Revenue is coming in, the team is growing, and somewhere behind the scenes things have started to crack.
That's where we come in.
The Cascade Advisory Group provides embedded back-office leadership across finance, operations, and EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System®). We step in as the senior partner and do the actual work.
-
Your numbers should tell you something. Most of the time, they don't. We build the close process, the reporting, the cash flow visibility, and the CFO-level strategy to make sense of all of it.
-
Growth without structure is just chaos with momentum. We step in as the operational layer your business doesn't have yet. Process design, org structure, systems oversight, and cross-functional execution.
-
EOS is a set of simple, practical tools and concepts used by small-to-midsize businesses to clarify their vision, gain traction, and build healthy teams. New to EOS? We coach your team through self-implementation. Already running it? We step in as your embedded Integrator.
The problem isn't the business. It's what's running behind it.
Finance. Operations. EOS. One team.
Start with one service line or build across all three. We work with what's already in place and own what isn't.

Not sure what combination makes sense? Most clients start with Finance. Some add Ops or EOS as the business grows. Some come specifically for EOS. The first conversation will tell us what fits.
How We Work
We build the back-office infrastructure you're missing. On the finance side, that means a close process that works, numbers you can trust and cash flow visibility. For Ops, that means documented processes, clear accountability, and systems your team can actually use. With EOS, your L10s run tight, Rocks get done, and the Visionary can focus on being one. We own the work. We don’t hand you a report and leave
When the numbers make sense, the decisions follow.
Who We Work With
Founder-led businesses between $3M and $50M. You've built something real. Revenue is there, the team is growing, and the complexity has started to outpace the infrastructure. You have some support in place, but no one providing senior back-office leadership above it. You are making decisions on hiring, pricing, and investment without numbers you fully trust. Your close is late, your reporting is inconsistent, and you are not sure where to start. You want someone who walks in, understands the full picture, and actually solves for the gaps slowing you down.
Not a deck.
Not a recommendation.
The actual fix.
The Team
Cassidy Drilling, MBA
Cassidy spent 15 years inside some of the best-run companies in the country before she started advising them. She built FP&A functions from scratch, led CFO-level strategy, and served as EOS Integrator for high-growth brands. She operates, integrates, and makes decisions with you. She knows what it costs when the numbers and the operations aren't speaking the same language. She is based in Southern California and rarely goes a day without a glimpse of the ocean.
Co-Founder & Partner
Mariah Gaines, CPA
Mariah has spent a decade in public accounting and controller roles across CPG, construction, and craft beverage. She brought that work with her when she co-founded The Cascade Advisory Group. She has a particular affinity for the accounting fixer-upper. Messy charts of accounts, reconciliations that haven't been touched in months, a close process nobody owns. She finds the puzzle genuinely interesting. She is based in Central Oregon with her husband and two young kids.

We’ve been in this room before. That’s the difference.
Why It Works
Mariah builds the accurate financial foundation. Cassidy uses it for strategy and planning. The output is only as good as the foundation underneath it. That’s why we built it this way.
Let’s Talk
We work with a small number of clients at a time across the United States. Founders who want the truth and a real plan, not a presentation about their own business handed back to them with a different logo on it. If that sounds like you, the first step is a conversation. Book time directly below or reach out by email.
